Joanna Kerr's redesign replaces the dark wood paneling with blue linen-inspired wallcoverings, mirrored details along the headboard walls, and flooring inspired by sand and shell stone. It's the same designer who handled Ocean Blu's dining room update a couple of years ago, so the visual language connects across the property rather than reading as a one-off refresh.
The timing is the part residents should actually track. The wing closed with the rest of the resort's seasonal downtime and reopens October 8, with rooms bookable from that date forward. That's roughly six weeks before the island's traditional holiday compression starts, which means anyone who wants to see the redesign in person, or put visiting family into one of the 26 renovated rooms, has a real window before winter rates and winter occupancy make that harder to arrange.

Nora Tobin's four Rejuvenation Weekends this year track a clean seasonal arc: Longevity Lab in June, Fit Family in July, Nature Reset in October, Holiday Healthy in December.
