KW Bahamas Unites to Make a Difference on RED Day 2025

Renew. Energize. Donate.

These three words define RED Day, Keller Williams’ annual day of service observed by market centers across the world. This year, KW Bahamas proudly joined the global movement with a meaningful community initiative—cleaning up Saunders Beach, one of Nassau’s most treasured coastal spaces.

A Commitment to Community and the Environment

Led by Kenred Dorsett (Regional Operating Principal), Monique Pustam-Hanna (Operations & Finance Manager), and Ruth Forbes-Tinker (Market Center Administrator), 12 members of the KW Bahamas team, including real estate agents and leadership, took to Saunders Beach on the morning of May 8th, 2025, to give back.

This effort was carried out in collaboration with The Bahamas Public Parks and Public Beaches Authority, focusing on environmental stewardship and community impact.

Why Saunders Beach?
Saunders Beach, located near the Nassau Cruise Port, is both a local favorite and a key stop for thousands of visitors to The Bahamas. Its role in the country’s tourism product makes it not only a place of leisure but a vital part of the local economy and environment. By removing waste—especially plastic harmful to marine life—the team contributed to protecting the environment and preserving the beach’s value for both locals and visitors.

Teamwork in Action

The team started their work at 9:00 a.m. and wrapped up around 11:00 a.m., successfully collecting eight large bags of garbage and two bags of recyclables.

The energy was positive and uplifting throughout the morning. A special moment of team spirit stood out when one agent misplaced their keys—and instead of moving on, the entire team paused to search together. This moment captured the essence of KW Bahamas' team culture—supporting one another and working as one.

After the cleanup, the team enjoyed lunch together, reflecting on the morning’s impact and their shared sense of accomplishment.

Community Connections and Visitor Engagement

Throughout the morning, tourists visiting the beach stopped to thank the team for their efforts and even engaged in conversations about real estate opportunities in The Bahamas. This unexpected interaction highlighted how giving back not only strengthens communities but also builds meaningful connections with those visiting our shores.

A Week of Giving in Every Sense

This year’s RED Day held special significance as KW Bahamas also celebrates its first anniversary. In addition to the beach cleanup, we made a donation to a local church, reflecting the KW Bahamas’ mission of putting “God first, family second, and business third.”

The church donation served as a way for KW Bahamas to honor God for their first year of service, acknowledging that every success starts with faith and community. This gesture reaffirmed the company's commitment to building a business rooted in purpose, values, and stewardship.

A Lasting Impact

RED Day 2025 reminded everyone at KW Bahamas that small, collective actions make a big difference. Whether through environmental stewardship, community engagement, or acts of generosity, KW Bahamas continues to show what it means to “Give Where You Live.”

Together, we are not just building homes—we are building stronger communities and protecting the beauty of The Bahamas for generations to come.
